Not an Exaggeration!
Calling yesterday's rains extraordinary,
fuera de lo usual, raining boatloads, or raining cats and dogs, was not a hyperbole. The streams of rain that came pouring down accumulated a record setting 9.23 inches! They broke the record for rain in one day for the Luis Munoz Marin Airport which is only a half mile away. It was only tenths of an inch away from breaking the record for the Metropolitan area as a whole. It also broke the weather for the coolest day on July 18th as well with a high of only 82 degrees. I loved it.
