Native American Veteran Women at the Inaugural Parade

I enjoyed seeing this on the CBS news release how these Native American women had united to represent their nations in the inauguration.  They showed their patriotism as they had all served our country at great sacrifice while still tetaining their beautiful cultural heritage.   This achievement did not come easy having done so at great social odds. In interview they mentioned that many families on the reservation were victims of dysfunctional families with alcoholism, child abuse, poverty, and domestic violence.

You will also be able to see a video there about Native Americans women who had served in the Armed Forces, and it too is a worthy video and interview. Look for their beauty, listen for their music, and look for their confidence and determination.

Definitely worth your while.
