Hannukah

God is Holy.  We are thankful for the Jewish people in their faithfulness to the Lord.  Even, Yeshua, who I believe is the Messiah observed the Festival of Lights, which commemorates when the Maccabeans were victorious over their enemies.   What a solemn and awesome time to remember that the Lord extended a days worth of Holy Oil to last a full 8 days while they purified and followed the prescribed process to consecrate fresh pressed oil for the temple worship.  It was a God thing.  Only He could have done it.

So many lessons can be learned here but it comes to mind that if you want to honor the Lord, He will get personally involved in your life if you seek him in Spirit and in truth.  Amazing things can happen as a result.
