Thinking about Puerto Rico

 Thinking about El Yunque, the beaches, my family, and all the beautiful things this island is contrasted by the rampant crime.  Sadness about the killings on the island covers the island like a blanket reaching every family with grief.  My country weeps.

Dios mio ayuda a Puerto Rico a arrepentirse y clamarte a ti desde la profundidad del llanto por tu misericordia.  Perdonanos Senor por estar pendientes a vanidades y no por las cosas eternas. Perdonanos por la mezcla con el mundo y por apartarnos de ti y de tus preceptos.  Ayudanos a a recobrar lo perdido.  Ayudanos a orar y orar.

It's time for prayer and more prayer for Puerto Rico.
