Bird Watching on the Outskirts of Holland MI

Taken from Lil's kitchen window.   Dried fall leaves scattered on the hill contrasted by two simple bird feeders made glorious by the lovely denizens who came to feed.  You have to have a sharp eye and a fancy camera to catch them.  I am not so fast and was using my HTC phone camera so there were plenty little chicadees I missed since they were flying in and out like Navy jets on a carrier.  Nevertheless, I caught some including that  handsome fellow all dressed in red with a cute little black fringed beak.

He was the charmer by far!

GREAT photos! Haven't seen too much of the cardinal lately-- hopefully he stays nearby this winter.
