Steve Harvey

Steve Harvey, a well known Hollywood comedian, and relatively new host of Family Feud was on TBN recently and made a comment that was the best explanation I had ever heard between having a gift and passion. He said it much better than my paraphrase, but the point is that it was so clear. A gift is something that you can do well and it comes easily, while a passion, is something you have a deep desire for. It really clarifies things for you when you know that what is your strength, what comes naturally for you is a gift. A gift should not be ignored. It can be your livelihood. That is not to say, that you shouldn't pursue your passion, it is just going to take a bit more effort to get to where you want to be with it.
