Field trip Sightings
A Sand Hill Crane, Slash Pine bark, tiny Gopher Turtle scurrying away from us, and a sizable spider in the toilet tank, were all evidence of nature at Moss Park. We also saw a Northern Cardinal, a Stork, butterflies, dragon flies, damsel flies, and a baby deer. The students mostly found it interesting, some were fascinated, while some just couldn't take the heat, but in general they liked it. I loved it.
