Ginger

My resource for this painting was a picture I took of a ginger in my mom's backyard in Venus Gardens, San Juan Puerto Rico. She was living there until recently and many things have changed in her house since she was hospitalized in December. The trees were cut down and her house is being refurbished from the inside out. All for the better. My sisters and brothers all deserve the credit for her care and all the hard work they are putting in to make sure she will be well taken care of.

She had the loveliest ginger there and this painting depicts them and represent a bygone time.
