15 things that put a smile on my face this week

I came back to Puerto Rico after being away 4 weeks—-these put a smile on my face:

1.  Seeing more lights as we approached Puerto Rico at night
2.  A Working Airconditioner
3.  Running water and a warm shower
4.  An open restaurant
5.  Puerto Rican Flags hanging from windows
6.  American Flags on Utility Trucks
7.  Cleaner Roads, less debris
8.  Running into my cousins who are open about their struggles
9.  Planning an outing with friends
10.  Hugs from Neighbors who are happy I’m back.;-)
11. Cool breezes!
12. The turquoise ocean where I left it
13. Battered trees growing new leaves on their trunks
14. Fresh lettuce- lechuga del pais in the supermarket
15. Knowing my family has my back and God’s faithfulness

 It’s not back to normal but there is Progress.
