Call me lazy, old fashioned or call me cheap. I learned this from my aunt Titi Sarita. She was always ready for company. She would percolate her coffee in the morning and should company arrive in the afternoon, she didn't have to set up her coffee machine because if she had left over coffee she would put it in a glass jar, actually and old milk glass liter and seal it with aluminum foil, then place it in the refrigerator. The only thing she would heat was the milk and take out the coffee. Yum yum. I do the same thing now especially since I like to visit my mother in the nursing home. I like to take her a snack and some hot coffee. You have no idea how much she loves it and it is practically no work for me. Just a delight.
