Earthquake in the Domincan Republic Today 1/5/12

There was a 5.3 earthquake 34 miles west of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic this morning at 5:35 Atlantic Standard time. It had a depth of ten miles. When I went to La Red Sismica they had the same information and I was able to find a link for the English version by clicking the the word english, (just like that, not capitalized) on the top right hand corner of the banner. There was an 4.6 aftershock this afternoon for which you can find more information at this link.

According to Dominican Today the earthquake lasted 30 seconds and was also felt in Haiti.
