We are alway triumphant in Christ

Things happen...situations at work, financial problems, and health issues sometimes make us believe things will never get better, but things have a way of working out, or God works them out for us. We are only passing through, aren't we?

Then I think about God's faithfulness to me for over 40 years! So many trials, so many joys, ups and down, and He always there. Always there.

Then I think of his hardship, when things looked so down for him. And they were! Deserted by his friends, surrounded by those who misjudged him, who rejected him, who mocked him, and who took pleasure to hurt him. That was his "worst" day. It was also the day of his greatest victory. It looked like he had lost but instead he was triumphant. He accomplished that for which he had come. He stayed the course, he paid the price, he hung in there, till we were freed. He was victorious. He secured heaven, eternity for us.

So even in our worst days, we are triumphant in Christ. Just look to Jesus. Lay all your burdens down at his feet, lay your head down, and he will put his arm around you, and comfort you.

God's peace and blessings be with you on Good Friday and all the rest of the week as we remember Him.

When things look dismal to us, we just need to look to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.
