Oh, a Lotus Flower

 
 

After all my crazy splashing paintings two years ago, one of the first things I painted was two purple lotus flowers. None of these can ever compare to the originals, but I like trying to capture the color and texture of these fascinating flowers. So here's another one.

And this is my third entry for the day, so I think that is enough for one day!
