The Nest

This is the sister painting to the one with the flowers. I called it The Nest. It looks like birds are flocking to it. It has a little bit of mixed media because I wanted to do something out of the box, too. I originally thought of painting some clouds, because I like clouds so much. They are whimsical and always changing, never stagnant, but as I painted I found it icy and needing some color. Anyway, that was the result. Different but I like it.

I just copied my daughter's instructions from her blog at a coqui at Winterfell, who had followed my other daughter's instructions. Here I am in my office studio. You might see I have a little bit of paint on my face. Better that than other things. What you don't see is the huge amount of paint on my hands.
