Not an Exaggeration!


 Calling yesterday's rains extraordinary,
fuera de lo usual,  raining boatloads, or raining cats and dogs, was not a hyperbole.  The streams of rain that came pouring down accumulated a record setting 9.23 inches! They broke the record for rain in one day for the Luis Munoz Marin Airport which is only a half mile away.  It was only tenths of an inch away from breaking the record for the Metropolitan area as a whole.  It also broke the weather for the coolest day on July 18th as well with a high of only 82 degrees.  I loved it.
