Yellow Elder: Flower of the Day

One of my favorite colors and trees. It has a brilliant yellow flower. This was taken somewhere in Puerto Rico, I think Isla Verde. Now I remember, just as you leave Boca de Cangrejos and Piñones, you can see Isla Verde beach on your right and this is a narrow side street where you can park and take in the view. That is where three Yellow Elder trees are standing, enjoying the ocean breeze and basking in the sun.
