Praire Flowers

These flowers of the day are prairie flowers taken off a road between Brooks and Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada. It wasn't until I saw the picture on my laptop, that I realized that perhaps there had been more than a simple bunch of flowers in that picture. Notice a gray slithery thing on the right hand corner. A snake?

hahaha! You were so ready to find a rattlesnake the whole time we were there. However, I am pretty certain that the mystery object on the right is actually your camera strap dangling into the shot.

About the snakes there were plenty of signs to back up the fact that snakes were plentiful. The "Save our snakes" sign, and the signs about snakes in the Badlands. About your theory of the camera strap, I think a piece of rope is more likely because my camera strap is only about six inches long at the most and I was more than a foot and a half away from the ground so your guess is plausible but unlikely. I wasn't even expecting a snake there at the rest area. If I had, I would not have stepped out on the grass to take that picture. Next...

About the strap, upon closer examination, you may be right! But you may wrong. Ummmm!
